skyler and I went out shoe shopping today for my birthday. I didn't end up buying anything but we had a blast trying on shoes. I think that Skyler has been watching too much of America's Next Top Model she is my fashion diva...

Soccer update

Unfortunately the last 2 weeks Kaleb's soccer games have been canceled due to poor field conditions ... too much rain so the current standings are still...0-0-2 (W-L-T)

On the other hand our indoor team is doing pretty well we finished 2nd place last season and are currently 4-0-0 (W-L-T) this season.

Pollen

Welcome to spring in Virginia. My allergies have been running rampant and I have been suffering terrible...here you can see why each morning there is this wonderful film of yellow pollen on our cars

Laundry

Shawn and I have this ongoing battle about the laundry. Neither of us really likes doing it but shawn reluctantly takes the lead most of the time since he is at home. The climax of the battle is always the socks. It is so time consuming matching them all and always without a doubt there is always one or two left without a match. Well, again this weekend he did th elaundry and left the socks for me to put away. Here he is "...being unsympathetic..."

Potato Project

Kaleb had an interesting homework project a couple of weeks ago for school. He was to decorate a potato in what ever way he wanted. Based on a recent holiday Kaleb wanted to make his potato into a leprechaun. We used all perishable items it was a challenge to figure out how to affix all the items to the potato. As our children get older I look forward to many other challenges such as this...
